Gorham Sand & Gravel (GSG) is seeking a construction project manager to manage projects ranging from small residential projects to large-scale commercial, municipal, or industrial jobs. Project Managers are responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure successful contract completion.

Project Manager Job Responsibilities

• Represents GSG at project meetings
• Obtains and ensures compliance with necessary regulations and permits
• Provide project submittals
• Write traffic control plans, dewatering plans, project schedules, and similar related documentation
• Solicit and compare quotes for subcontracts and supplies
• Work from 7:00AM to 5:00 M-F
• Orders project materials to maintain schedule and workflow
• Manages multiple earthwork sites
• Communicates with clients and leadership to deliver monthly project progress reports and billings
• Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan
• Collaborates with engineers, subcontractors, and other specialists
• Review and approve or deny project related expenses

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong construction and heavy equipment knowledge
• Communication Proficiency
• Organization and Planning Skills
• Proficient with Computers, Microsoft Office products, units billing, AIA billing
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and outside resources

Education and Experience Requirements

• 2 years of construction experience or equivalent experience or a related degree in Construction Management,  Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration or similar field
